In addition to announcing the main event, the UFC announced the three other fights that will be part of the main card as those matchups are Mirko Cro Cop vs. Anthony Hamilton, Dong Hyun Kim vs. Jorge Masvidal, and Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alberto Mina.

UFC Fight Night 79: Henderson vs. Alves will come from the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, Korea on November 28 and the event will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

The defeat was his second career TKO defeat as the previous one came in 2006 against Jon Fitch.
