A women’s strawweight bout has been added to the UFC 194 card on December 12 in Las Vegas as former Invicta FC atomweight champion Michelle Waterson will meet Tecia Torres.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC 194 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on December 12 and will be headlined by a featherweight title unification bout as champion Jose Aldo meets interim champion Conor McGregor.
Waterson (13-4) won her UFC debut in July as she submitted Angela Magana at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. She is 7-1 in her last eight fights and six of those wins have come by stoppage. Torres (6-0) has gone 2-0 in the UFC and all of her wins have come by unanimous decision. Her last fight came in June as she defeated Angela Hill at UFC 188.
