A welterweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 77 card in October as Tom Breese will meet Cathal Pendred in a bout that will likely be on the main card.
The fight booking was confirmed by the UFC today following a report by The Sun.
UFC Fight Night 77 will come from The 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on October 24 and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Dustin Poirier meets Joseph Duffy.
Breese (8-0) won his UFC debut in May with a TKO victory against Luiz Dutra at UFC Fight Night 67. All of his victories have come by stoppage and five of his wins have come in the first round. Pendred (17-3-1) had his twelve fight unbeaten streak snapped last month as he lost a split decision against John Howard. He is 4-1 in the UFC and his last four fights have gone to the decision.
