A featherweight bout has been added to the UFC 192 fight card on October 3 in Houston as Ultimate Fighter Latin America winner Yair Rodriguez will meet Dan Hooker.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Monday following a report by the Houston Chronicle.
UFC 192 will come from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by a title fight as Daniel Cormier defends the light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.
Rodriguez (5-1) won The Ultimate Fighter Latin America featherweight tournament last year when he defeated Leonardo Morales in the final at UFC 180. He returned in June at UFC 188 and scored a decision victory over Charles Rosa for his third straight win. Hooker (12-5) has gone 2-1 in the UFC and is coming off a knockout win in May against Hatsu Hioki. Both of his wins in the UFC have come by TKO/KO and he has won seven of his last eight fights.
