A welterweight bout has been added to the Bellator 144 on October 23 in Connecticut as Brennan Ward will meet Dennis Olson on the main card broadcast on Spike TV.
The fight booking was announced by Bellator on Tuesday.
Bellator 144 will come from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight rematch as champion Marcos Galvao makes his first title defense against former champion Eduardo Dantas.
Ward (11-3) has won back to back fights and both of those wins have come by stoppage in the first round. His most recent win came in July as he defeated Roger Carroll by knockout. Olson (14-9) returned to Bellator in July and was defeated by Paul Daley. He is 3-3 in his last six fights and two of those wins came by submission.
