The latest fight booking to the UFC on FOX 17 card is a featherweight bout as veteran Cole Miller will meet Jim Alers on the preliminary card. 
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday.
UFC on FOX 17 will come from the Amway Center on December 19 and will be headlined by a title fight as Rafael dos Anjos defends the lightweight title against Donald Cerrone.
Miller (21-9) enters this fight following a decision lost in February against Max Holloway. He is 3-2 in his last five fights and two of those wins came by submission. Alers (13-2) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Chas Skelly in February. He is 1-1 in the UFC and the victory came against Alan Omer last year.
