A lightweight bout has been booked for January’s UFC 195 in Las Vegas as Erik Koch will meet Drew Dober in a bout that will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on late Monday evening.
UFC 195 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 2 and will be headlined by a title fight as Robbie Lawler defends the welterweight title against Carlos Condit.
Koch (14-4) returned to lightweight last year and has gone 1-1 since returning to the 155 pound division. This will be his first fight since May of 2014, which was a TKO defeat against Daron Cruickshank. Dober (15-7, 1NC) will also enter this fight following a lost as he was defeated by Efrain Escudero at UFC 188 in June. He is 1-1, 1NC in his last three fights and his last win came in late 2014 against Jamie Varner.
