Rafael dos Anjos became the UFC lightweight champion earlier this year when he defeated Anthony Pettis and he will make his first title defense in December when he faces Donald Cerrone in the main event of UFC on FOX 17.
The fight with Cerrone will be a rematch of their 2013 bout, which Dos Anjos won by unanimous decision.
During Friday’s edition of Inside MMA on AXS TV, Dos Anjos appeared on the show to promote his upcoming title defense and stated, “I will make sure this belt will remain with me.”
