The sixth episode of The Ultimate Fighter 22 debuted last night on FOX Sports 1 and featured Julian Erosa of Team Faber defeating Mehdi Baghdad of Team McGregor.
According to Nielson sources, The Ultimate Fighter 22 debuted at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 to 585,000 viewers and the replay showing at 1 a.m. ET drew an average audience of 126,000 viewers.
The 10 p.m. ET airing went head-to-head with the New York Mets’ series clinching National League Championship Series win over the Chicago Cubs on TBS (7.9 million). The new episode of the UFC reality show posted gains of 66 percent on viewership (585,000 vs. 353,000) and 65 percent among Adults 18-49 demographic (342,000 vs. 207,000) compared to the corresponding episode last spring. Compared to the same episode last fall, it was up 17 percent on viewership (vs. 500,000) and virtually even in the Adult 18-49 demographic (vs. 345,000).
