When it came to the sports competition, the night was won by the NBA doubleheader on ESPN. The early game (8-10:48p ET) between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks average 1.73 million, while the late game (10:48-1:01a ET) between the San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trailblazers averaged 1.71 million.
