The ninth episode of The Ultimate Fighter 22 debuted Wednesday on FS1 and featured Abner Lloveras of Team McGregor scoring a victory against Team Faber’s Jason Gonzalez.
According to Nielson sources, The Ultimate Fighter 22 debuted at 10 p.m. ET on FS1 to 459,000 viewers and this is the most-watched episode nine of a TUF season in FS1 history, beating last spring by 38% (332,000), last fall by 19% (385,000), spring 2014 by 3% (445,000) and the Rousey-Tate fall 2013 episode 9 by 2% (452,000).
When it came to the sports competition, the night was won by the NBA doubleheader on ESPN. The game between the Chicago Bulls and the Phoenix Suns averaged 1.507 million, while the earlier game (8p ET) between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Oklahoma City Thunder came in with 1.402 million viewers.
