Welterweight Dom Waters will be stepping up on short notice to compete in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 79 next weekend in Korea when he meets Dong Hyun Kim.
Waters (9-3) lost his UFC debut in July against George Sullivan by unanimous decision at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale and was a guest on Tuesday’s edition of The MMA Report Podcast to talk about the decision to step up on short notice.
Along with discussing his decision to accept the fight on two weeks notice, Waters talked about moving his training from California to New Mexico and his Go Fund Me page.
