Welterweight Stephen Thompson will be returning to action on February 6 in Las Vegas at UFC 196 as he will meet former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks on the main card.
Thompson (11-1) is currently on a five fight winning streak and is coming off a knockout win in July as he defeated Jake Ellenberger in the first round at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale.
On Tuesday’s edition of The MMA Report Podcast, Thompson was a guest on the show to talk about his upcoming fight against Hendricks and also gave his thoughts on what happened this past weekend in Las Vegas at UFC 194.
