UFC 195 Medical Suspensions: Poirier, Noke, and Westcott facing a potential six month suspension

The medical suspensions for UFC 195 have been released by the Nevada Athletic Commission and Dustin Poirier is one of three fighters facing a potential six month suspension.300x250

The commission released the medical suspensions on Monday and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.

UFC 195 took place this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was headlined by Robbie Lawler defeating Carlos Condit by split decision to retain the UFC welterweight title.

The complete UFC 195 medical suspensions are below:

  • Robbie Lawler: Suspended until 03/03/16 and no contact until 02/17/16.
  • Carlos Condit: Suspended until 03/03/16 and no contact until 02/17/16.
  • Andrei Arlovski: Suspended until 02/17/16 and no contact until 02/02/16.
  • Kyle Noke: Must have fractured nose cleared by Dr or no contest until 07/02/16; minimum suspension and no contest until 02/02/16, no contact until 01/24/16 (left elbow strain).
  • Drew Dober: Suspended until 02/02/16 and no contact until 01/14/16.
  • Scott Holtzman: Suspended until 03/03/16 and no contact until 02/17/16.
  • Dustin Poirier: Must have fractured nose cleared by Dr or no contest until 07/02/16; minimum suspension and no contest until 02/17/16; no contact until 02/02/16.
  • Joe Duffy: Suspended until 02/02/16 and no contact until 01/14/16 (lacerations).
  • Joe Soto: Needs follow up exam with retinal specialist due 05/01/16.
  • Sheldon Westcott: Must have left knee cleared and right hand x-rayed; if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 07/02/16; minimum suspension no contest until 02/02/16, no contact until 01/24/16.
  • Edgar Garcia: Suspended until 02/02/16 and no contact until 01/24/16.
