Ultimate Fighter Brazil 1 winner Cezar Ferreira will be returning to the middleweight division in April as he will meet fellow Brazilian Caio Magalhaes at UFC on FOX 19.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday evening and the promotion also revealed that lightweights Drew Dober and Islam Makhachev will meet each other on the April 16 card.
UFC on FOX 19 will come from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on April 16 and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Khabib Nurmagomedov returns from injury to meet Ultimate Fighter winner Tony Ferguson.
Ferreira (8-5) has dropped back to back fights after starting 4-1 in the UFC. The last defeat came in July of last year when he lost to Jorge Masvidal at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. Magalhaes (9-2) is also coming off a lost as he was defeated by Caio Magalhaes. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak and was his first defeat since his UFC debut.
