Rafael Carvalho defends middleweight title in main event of Bellator 155 against Melvin Manhoef

Bellator will be heading to Boise, Idaho for Bellator 155 and the fight card will be headlined by a title fight as Rafael Carvalho will defend the middleweight title against Melvin Manhoef.

The fight booking was announced by Bellator on Friday evening and the promotion also announced that Pat Curran will meet Georgi Karakhanyan in the co-main event of the May 20 fight card.

Bellator 155 will come from the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho and tickets will go on sale next Friday, March 4at Bellator.com, the CenturyLink Arena Box Office, CenturyLinkArenaBoise.com or by phone at 208-331-TIXS.

Carvalho (12-1) won the Bellator middleweight title in October when he defeated Brandon Halsey for the vacant title. He has won twelve in a row since losing his pro debut and his last three wins have come in Bellator. Manhoef (30-12-1, 2NC) is coming off a knockout win at Bellator 146 against Hisaki Kato and he is 2-1, 1NC in Bellator. He is already scheduled to return to kickboxing in April as he will headline the Bellator kickboxing event on April 16 in Italy.
