Alberto Uda signs with UFC, replaces Keith Berish against Jake Collier at UFC Fight Night 88

An undisclosed injury has forced Keith Berish to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 88 bout against Jake Collier and stepping up to replace Berish in the bout will be UFC newcomer Alberto Uda.

The fight change was announced by the UFC on Thursday.

UFC Fight Night 88 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 29 and will be headlined by a bantamweight bout as Thomas Almeida will meet Cody Garbrandt.

Uda (9-0) has won eight of his nine fights by stoppage and is coming off a TKO win in December against Thiago de Oliveira Perpetuo at XFC International 13. His last five wins have come in that promotion and three of those victories came by TKO. Collier (9-3) has gone 1-2 in the UFC and will enter this fight following a defeat against Dongi Yang in November. His only win in the UFC came last year at UFC Fight Night 68 as he scored a split decision victory over Ricardo Abreu.
