Featherweight Emmanuel Sanchez will be remaining in Bellator as the 145 pound fighter has signed a multi-year, multi-fight contract extension with the California based mixed martial arts promotion.
The contract extension was announced by Bellator in a press release on Tuesday afternoon.
Sanchez (13-2) made his Bellator debut in the fall of 2014 and has won five of his six fights in the promotion. He is currently on a three fight winning streak since losing to former Bellator featherweight champion Pat Curran and he is coming off a split decision victory against Daniel Pineda at Bellator 149 last month.
The next fight for Sanchez in Bellator has not been announced at this time and look for that announcement in the coming weeks from the promotion.
