The welterweight title will be on the line in the main event of CES MMA 34 on Friday night at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut as current champion Chris Curtis will be defending the title against UFC and Bellator veteran Nah-Shon Burrell.
This is be the second meeting between the 170 pound fighters as there initial meeting came back in 2010 and Curtis walked away with a decision victory on that night. On yesterday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Burrell recalled the first fight with Curtis and explained why he felt he had a terrible game plan in the first meeting.
“My trainers at the time were trying to get me to wrestle him that fight before I even knew how to wrestle,” Burrell said. “So I went in there with a crappy game plan. At least I think so.”
