Dominick Cruz defends bantamweight title in co-main event of UFC 199 against Urijah Faber

The co-main event of UFC 199 will be a trilogy bout and a title will be on the line as Dominick Cruz defends the UFC bantamweight title against former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber.

The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday during the Unstoppable press conference.

UFC 199 will take place on June 4 and will be headlined by a title fight rematch as Luke Rockhold defends the middleweight title against Chris Weidman.

Cruz (21-1) regain the UFC bantamweight title in January as he defeated T.J. Dillashaw in the main event of UFC Fight Night 81. In his first meeting with Faber, he lost by submission at WEC 26 and he won the rematch at UFC 132 by decision. Faber (33-8) is coming off a win against Frankie Saenz at UFC 194 and he has won three of his last four fights.
