A bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC 198 fight card in Brazil on May 14 as John Lineker will meet Rob Font on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC 198 will take place on May 14 at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil and will be headlined by a title fight as Fabricio Werdum defends the heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic.
Loneker (26-7) returned to bantamweight in September and scored a submission win against Francisco Rivera at UFC 191. It was his third straight win and he has won seven of his nine fights in the UFC. Font (12-1) has won both of his fights in the UFC and is coming off a victory against Joey Gomez in January. He is currently on an eleven fight winning streak and eight of his twelve victories have come by stoppage.
