Shamrock FC Mayhem: Shaun Scott talks about how the change in opponent altered his preparations

Coming up tonight at the River City Casino in St. Louis, Missouri will be Shamrock FC: Mayhem and the fight card will feature a vacant amateur middleweight title fight as Shaun Scott meets Kevin Roper.

Initially, Scott was scheduled to meet Dustin Fischer for the amateur 185 pound title. However, Fischer recently pulled out of the event and Scott will now face Roper. During a recent interview with The MMA Report, Scott talked about how the change in opponent altered his preparations for tonight’s fight card.

“End of the day, I train the best that I can be personally,” Scott stated. “Dustin was a little shorter than Kevin and by that I mean still three inches taller than me. I am giving up five inches in fighting Kevin which is an interesting predicament. But as I am going to be a bit more spread out, I have taken a look at Kevin style. Adjusted my own personal game plan and I feel very confident going in.”
