An ankle injury has forced Caio Magalhaes to pull out of his fight next week at UFC on FOX 19 against Cezar Ferreira and stepping up on seven days notice to face Ferreira will be Oluwale Bamgbose.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Saturday afternoon.
UFC on FOX 19 will come from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as former UFC title challenger Glover Teixeira will meet former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans.
Bamgbose (6-1) lost his UFC debut against Uriah Hall at UFC Fight Night 73 and is coming off a knockout victory against Daniel Sarafian at UFC Fight Night 83. All of his wins have come by TKO/KO and all of his fights have ended in the first round. Ferreira (8-5) has dropped back to back fights after starting 4-1 in the UFC. The last defeat came in July of last year when he lost to Jorge Masvidal at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale.
