ONE Championship will be returning to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 6 for ONE Championship 42: Ascent to Power and the event will be headlined by Vitaly Bigdash defending the promotions middleweight title against Aleksei Butorin.
Along with the middleweight title fight, the promotion announced in a press release on Friday that the May 6 event will crown the inaugural ONE Championship women’s atamweight champion as Angela Lee will meet Mei Yamauchi in the co-main event of the fight card.
“Finally, we’re home in Singapore, and I know a lot of our fans here have been waiting a long time for our return,” ONE Championship CEO Victor Cui said in the press release. “As usual, we have a fantastic night of world-class mixed martial arts action planned for all the fans in attendance. Expect to be at the edge of your seats as we bring you two big title fights featuring our top ONE athletes.”
