WSOF 30 Medical Suspensions: Vinny Magalhaes facing a potential six month suspension

The medical suspensions for WSOF 30 have been released by the Nevada Athletic Commission and Vinny Magalhaes is facing a potential six month suspension due to a right hand injury.

The commission released the medical suspensions on Monday and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.

WSOF 30 took place this past Saturday night at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and was headlined by David Branch retaining the middleweight title with a decision victory against Clifford Starks.

The complete WSOF 30 medical suspensions are below:

  • Vinny Magalhaes: Must have displaced fracture of the second metacarpal on the right hand cleared by Orthopedic Dr. or no contest until 09/30/16.
  • Danny Davis Jr: Suspended until 05/03/16 and no contact until 04/24/16 (left eyelid laceration)
  • Abu Azaitar: Must have left foot/ankle x-rayed, if positive then must have orthopedic Dr. clearance or no contest until 09/30/16.
  • Matthew Frincu: Suspended until 04/24/16 and no contact until 04/17/16 (abrasions over eyes).
  • Rex Harris: Suspended until 05/03/16 and no contact until 04/24/16 (left corneal abrasion)
  • Matt Church: Suspended until 05/03/16 and no contact until 04/24/16 (left eyebrow laceration)
  • Steve Kozola: Must have left hand x-rayed, if positive then needs orthopedic Dr. clearance or no contest until 09/30/16.
  • Zach Bunnell: Suspended until 04/24/16 and no contact until 04/17/16.
  • Jeff Roman: Must have right hand x-rayed, if positive then needs orthopedic Dr. clearance or no contest until 09/30/16.
