A featherweight bout has been officially announced for The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale on July 8 in Las Vegas as Doo Ho Choi will meet Thiago Tavares.
The fight booking was recently reported by Korean outlet SPOTV News and the UFC officially announced the fight on Monday evening.
The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale will take place on July 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be headlined by a title fight as Joanna Jedrzejczyk defends the women’s strawweight title against Claudia Gadelha.
Choi (13-1) is currently on an eleven fight winning streak and he has gone 2-0 in the UFC. Both of his wins in the UFC have come by TKO/KO and his most recent win came in November against Sam Sicilia. Tavares (20-6-1) enters this fight following a win against Clay Guida in November and he is 3-1 in his last four fights. Fourteen of his wins have come by submission and his last three wins have come by submission.
