The co-main event of tomorrow night’s Shamrock FC: Aftershock at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Missouri will be a flyweight bout as Dillon Tolbert will look for his third straight victory when he faces Dustin Kramer.
Tolbert (2-2) opened his professional career with back to back defeats and enters this fight following back to back stoppage victories. His most recent win came in March at Shamrock FC: Retaliation against Cody Peppard and during Tuesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Tolbert explained lessons he learned in his early pro defeats.
“It always sucks that you lose, but there are positives that did come from it,” Tolbert stated. “I know what it feels like. I know what it’s like to stare at my feet watching the other guy getting his hand raise. That is just one of the worse feelings that I’ve ever had in my life. Just from that, it’s a little driving force behind me knowing that I do not want to feel like that again.”
