Heading into his pro debut tonight, Sawyer Rich talks about lessons he learned from his amateur fights

After nine amateur fights, Sawyer Rich will make his pro debut tonight at Valor Fights 34 as he will meet Dalton Fox on the fight card coming from the TTU Hyder-Burks Agricultural Pavilion in Cookeville, Tennessee.

While he is making his pro debut following a lost, Rich felt the time was right to make his pro debut now and he was a guest on Tuesday’s edition of “The MMA Report Podcast” to preview his fight tonight against Fox. During his appearance on the show, he talked about the lessons he learned from his amateur fights.

“I think there is definitely a lesson every fight,” Rich stated on The MMA Report Podcast. “Regardless, win or lose. Of course, my last fight, I am coming off a lost. I think I learned more from that fight than any other fight. You take more from a lost than a win for sure. I look back at my mistakes in my losses and I have learned from them. I feel like I am a better fighter because of it.”
