After winning both of his pro fights at bantamweight, Jose Torres is moving down to the flyweight division at Titan FC 40 in August as he will meet Abdiel Velazquez.
The fight booking was recently announced by Titan FC on social media.
Titan FC 40 will come from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida on August 5 and the event will be streamed exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
Torres (2-0) made his pro debut in March at Titan FC 37 and defeated Travis Taylor by submission in the first round. He returned to competion less than two months later and scored a decision win against Reynaldo Duarte at Titan FC 38. Velazquez (7-2) has won six of his last seven fights and defeated Alexis Vila by majority decision earlier this month at Titan FC 39. Five of his seven wins have come by finish and three of those victories have come by submission.
More information on Titan FC 40 is expected to be announced shortly by the promotion.
