Josh LaBerge is excited to fighting an opponent tonight at CES MMA 36 that will come forward

Lightweight Josh LaBerge will be looking for his second straight win tonight inside the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island as he will be facing Jonathan Lemke at CES MMA 36.

LaBerge (10-5) is coming off a win against Ran Weathers at CES MMA 35 in April and he is 8-1 in his last night fights. The only lost in his last nine fights came against Matt Bessette and when it comes to his fight tonight against Lemke, he explained to The MMA Report that he does not know too much about him but the one thing he knows is that he will be facing a fighter that is going to come forward.

“I don’t know too much about Jon. I have seen a couple of his fights on You Tube,” LaBerge said. “He looks like a scrapper, which I like. Looks like a brawler. He is definitely not afraid to engage, which is what I am looking for. My last fight with Ran, I felt like he really did not want to engage with me and it’s kind of hard to fight somebody that doesn’t want to engage. So I am looking forward to this one because I know he is a tough dude. I know he is not going to be afraid of my punches and he is going to be willing to engage with me. Maybe a fire fight. Maybe a brawl. We will see what happens but he is definitely going to come forward. He is going to come to me. I am pretty sure of and I am looking forward to that. It’s easy to play defense than to play offense.”
