Tony Ferguson discusses recent injury, Khabib Nurmagomedov and upcoming fight against Michael Chiesa

The main event of next month’s UFC Fight Night 91 will be a lightweight bout between Ultimate Fighter winners as season thirteen winner Tony Ferguson will meet season fifteen winner Michael Chiesa.

Ferguson (20-3) is currently on a seven fight winning streak and had been scheduled to face Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC on FOX 19 in April. However, he had to pull out of that fight due to an injury and he will now meet Chiesa next month in South Dakota.

During last night’s UFC 199 in Southern California, Ferguson was in attendance and talked to the media for ten minutes. He talked about the injury that forced him to pull out of the fight with Nurmagomedov, the recovery from that injury, his upcoming fight against Michael Chiesa and the lightweight title fight next month at UFC Fight Night 90.
