The final amateur fight for heavyweight Ben Rowland will take place on August 13 at Valor Fights 36 as he will meet Billy Swanson on the fight card coming from the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Rowland (5-0) made his amateur debut last year and four of his five wins have come by stoppage in the opening round. He enters this fight following a submission win against Tyrone Garner at Valor Fights 30 and he recently told The MMA Report that he is looking to putting on a show for the fans in attendance on August 13.
“Would kind of like to stand and bang in this fight,” Rowland told The MMA Report. “Just like I talked with Billy. I told him that we need to go out there and steal the show. Put on a show for the fans. Give them there monies worth. That is what we plan on doing. We are going to go out there and try to steal the show.”
