The Ultimate Fighter Latin American 2 lightweight tournament finalist Horacio Gutierrez will return to the UFC octagon next month as he will meet Teruto Ishihara in a featherweight bout.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday morning.
UFC Fight Night 92 will come from the Vivint Smart Home Arena on August 6 and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Ultimate Fighter Latin America winner Yair Rodriguez will meet Ultimate Fighter 12 alum Alex Caceres.
Gutierrez (2-2) lost to Enrique Barzola in The Ultimate Fighter Latin American 2 lightweight tournament at UFC Fight Night 78 last year and this will be his first fight since losing that fight by decision. He enters this fight on a two fight losing streak and his last win came in 2014 against Jose Verdugo. Ishihara (8-2-2) has gone 1-0-1 in the UFC and is 5-1-2 in his last eight fights. His most recent UFC fight came in March as he defeated Julian Erosa by knockout at UFC 196.
