The next Valor Fights card will be taking place on August 13 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the card will feature a lightweight bout between Ian Lawler and Steven Haag.
Lawler (3-2) enters this fight following a TKO win at Valor Fights 32 in April and he has won three of his last four fights after dropping his professional debut in 2014. When the fight against Hagg was offered, Lawler was familiar with the fighting abilities of Hagg and explained to The MMA Report that he feels this will be the biggest test of his MMA career.
“I watched his fight with Nick Gehrts. My brother Will fought on that same card and honestly I have nothing but great things to say about Steven,” Lawler said. “He is definitely a warrior. He comes in great shape. Ready to rock and rumble. He looks like from the outside looking in, very comfortable in all aspects of combat sports for MMA. He stays very calm and compose. This is definitely going to be the biggest test of my MMA career so far.”
