After his fight at UFC 201 last week was scratched due to his opponent being unable to make weight, Ian McCall will return to the UFC octagon on September 10 in Cleveland as he will meet Ray Borg.
The fight booking was confirmed by UFC officials following a report from the Los Angeles Daily News.
UFC 203 will come from the Quicken Loans Arena and will be headlined by a title fight as Stipe Miocic defends the UFC heavyweight title against Alistair Overeem.
McCall (13-5-1) has gone 2-3-1 since entering the UFC in 2012 and this will be his first fight since losing to John Lineker at UFC 183 by decision. While he did not fight last week after his opponent was pulled from the fight, he made weight and the UFC paid him his contracted fight purse. Borg (9-2) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Justin Scoggins in February by decision. The defeat snapped a three fight winning streak and he is 3-2 in the UFC.
