The professional debut of former Valor Fights amateur champion Charlie Alexander will take place on November 5 at Valor Fights 38 as he will meet Damir Ferhatbegovic.
The fight booking was announced by Valor Fights on Monday.
Valor Fights 38 will come from the Nashville Fairgrounds Arena in Nashville, Tennessee and will be headlined by Zack Hicks meeting Nick Gehrts in a catchweight bout of 150 pounds.
Alexander went 9-3 in the amateur ranks and is coming off a decision win against Jason Wolf in February at Valor Fights 31. Ferhatbegovic (2-0) made his professional debut earlier this year and enters this fight following a 24-second knockout victory at Valor Fights 32 against Robert Covington IV.
“I’ve tried to carry myself as a professional for years, but this is going to be a special fight, since it is my pro debut, and there are going to be a lot of my supporters there, since it’s so close to home,” Alexander said. “I’m excited; it’s going to be a special night.”
