A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC 205 card on November 12 in New York City as Khabib Nurmagomedov will meet Michael Johnson on the preliminary card.
UFC President Dana White confirmed the fight booking during the UFC 205 press conference on Tuesday.
UFC 205 will come from Madison Square Garden and will be headlined by a title fight as lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will defend the UFC 155 pound title against current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
Nurmagomedov (23-0) has gone 7-0 in the UFC and is coming off a stoppage victory against Darrell Horcher at UFC on FOX 19 in April. Johnson (17-10) scored a knockout victory against Dustin Poirier earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 94 and the victory snapped a two fight losing streak.
