The opening bout of today’s UFC on FOX 24 preliminary card on FOX (6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT) will be a flyweight bout as Louis Smolka will look to snap a two fight losing streak when he meets former UFC flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott on the fight card coming from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Smolka (11-3) has gone 5-3 since entering the UFC in 2014 and is coming off a decision defeat in December at UFC 207 against Ray Borg. His last victory came in the middle of last year when he defeated Ben Nguyen by TKO and three of his five wins in the UFC have come by stoppage.
