Kurt Holobaugh scored his fourth straight victory last week as he defeated Matt Bessette in the inaugural episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series and the victory secured him a multi-fight deal with the UFC.
The victory over Bessette marked the return to the featherweight division for Holobaugh (18-4) as his previous three fights took place in the lightweight division. Since his exit from the UFC in 2013, Holobaugh has gone 9-2 and seven of those wins have come by stoppage.
On this edition of “The MMA Report Podcast Extra,” Holobaugh talks about his victory over Bessette on the inaugural episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series and explains why he decided to return to the featherweight division.
