The main event of Saturday’s Bellator/Monster Energy Fight Series will be a welterweight bout as Ben Sergent will look to remain undefeated when he meets Brandon Bell on the fight card coming from the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee.
Sergent (7-0) returned to competition earlier this year for the first time in nearly two years as he defeated Steve Bell by submission at Valor Fights vs. Warrior FC: Border Wars in May. Six of his seven wins have come by stoppage and his last five wins have come by submission.
During last week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Sergent was a guest on the podcast to preview his fight against Bell and explained how he would like to hand Bell his first knockout defeat.
