The co-main event of Saturday’s Bellator 190 (Spike, 8p ET) will be a lightweight bout as Brandon Girtz will look to snap his three fight losing streak when he meets Luka Jelcic on the fight card coming from the Nelson Mandela Forum in Firenze, Italy.
Girtz (14-7) is coming off a doctor stoppage lost in July against Derek Campos at Bellator 181 and he will be seeking his first win since defeating Campos at Bellator 146 in late 2015.
During last week’s podcast, Girtz was a guest on the podcast to preview his matchup against Jelcic. Along with previewing his fight, he talked about the adversity he dealt with his last fight and the potential of being a referee or judge wants his fighting days are over.
