UFC Utica took place on Friday night in upstate New York and was headlined by Marlon Moraes potentially kicking his way into the next UFC bantamweight title fight as he defeated Jimmie Rivera by head kick knockout in 33-seconds.
The victory by Moraes was one of five stoppage victories on the main card and clearly the victory by Moraes was the most noteworthy victory on the card, but the number two noteworthy victory on the fight card came in the co-main event as rising lightweight prospect Gregor Gillespie remained undefeated with a dominating victory over Vinc Pichel.
