Mike Rodriguez scored his first UFC victory earlier this month at UFC on FOX 31 as he defeated Adam Milstead by TKO in the opening round of their light heavyweight bout.
Rodriguez (10-3) has now won five of his last six fights and the victory over Milstead marked his eighth victory to come in the opening round. In addition to this being his tenth career win, it also marked his eighth career victory by TKO/KO and all of his wins have come by stoppage.
During last week’s episode of The MMA Report Podcast, Rodriguez was a guest on the podcast to recap his victory over Milsead. Additionally, he explained to Jason Floyd the origin of his nickname “Slow” and when he would like his next fight to take place.
