Bellator 214 took place on Saturday night from The Forum in Inglewood, California and was headlined by Ryan Bader becoming a two-division champion as he defeated Fedor Emelianenko in 35-seconds to win the Bellator heavyweight Grand Prix to claim the vacant Bellator heavyweight title.
Prior to the main event, the co-main event also ended with a devastating knockout win as Henry Corrales handed Aaron Pico the second defeat of his career as he won in 67-seconds. Also on the main card, Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) made his professional MMA debut and scored a submission win against J.W. Kiser.
