ONE Championship 92 took place on Sunday from the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan and featured the promotional debuts of Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez.
Alvarez kicked off the main card on B/R Live and he was defeated in the first round by Timofey Nastyukhin. The defeat for Alvarez marks his second straight defeat and has now won three of his last four fights.
While Alvarez was unable to get a victory in his ONE Championship debut, Johnson was able to score a victory as he submitted Yuya Wakamatsu via guillotine choke to advance in the ONE Championship flyweight tournament.
