A lightweight bout has been added to an upcoming UFC fight card on November 6th as Jorge Masvidal will meet Rustam Khabilov.
The fight booking was announced on Tuesday night’s edition of UFC Tonight on FUEL TV.
The November 6th card is expected to serve as Fight for the Troops 3 and a venue for the card is expected to be announced shortly.
Masvidal (25-7) is currently on a three fight winning streak and two of those wins have come in the UFC. He most recently defeated Michael Chiesa at last weekends UFC on FOX 8 event and he won the fight in the second round by submission.
Khabilov (16-1) has won five fights in a row and has won his first two fights in the UFC. He entered the UFC at the end of 2012 at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale and defeated by knockout in the first round. He followed up that win by defeating Yancy Medeiros by TKO at UFC 159.
