Sergio Moraes won his second straight fight in the UFC as he defeated Neil Magny by triangle choke submission in the third round. 
The fight opened with them striking for the first 90 seconds of the fight before Moraes was able to get the fight to the ground. He started in top position and passed to side control.
Moraes would move from side control to mount position and begin to work his submission game. From the mount position, he went for an triangle choke and landed elbows while having the submission locked in.
While having the submission locked in, he rolled his body over and Magny immediately tapped out after rolling over. Moraes (8-2) has now won three of his four fights in the UFC and seven of his eight wins have come by submission. The lost for Magny (8-2) snaps a two fight win streak and this is first defeat since 2011.
