An undisclosed injury has forced John Moraga to pull out of his UFC on FOX 9 bout against Darren Uyenoyama, and replacing him in the bout will be UFC newcomer Alptekin Ozkilic.
UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday afternoon and the new bout will be on the preliminary card.
UFC on FOX 9 will come from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California on December 14th and will be headlined by Demetrious Johnson defending the UFC flyweight title against Joseph Benavidez.
Ozkilic (8-1) comes to the UFC from Legacy Fighting Championship and is currently on a three fight winning streak. His last two wins have come by TKO and he recently defeated former UFC fighter Antonio Banuelos in 30 seconds.
Uyenoyama (8-4) opened his UFC career with back to back victories including a submission win over Phil Harris at UFC on FX 5. He was defeated by Benavidez at UFC on FOX 7 in his last fight by TKO in the second round and it was his first career defeat by TKO.
