The thirteenth episode of The Ultimate Fighter 18: Rousey vs Tate premiered last Wednesday on Fox Sports 1.
According to Nielsen sources, episode 13 of The Ultimate Fighter 18 hit 635,000 total viewers (.31 rating) and was up 24% compared to last weeks episode, which landed at only 510,000 total viewers.
A key note here should be that the UFC won the ratings (not total viewership) battle with the WWE for the first time in a while. WWE’s Main Event on ION TV drew a larger overall audience of 1.331 million viewers but lost out on the rating with only a 0.31 rating (389,000 adults) versus the UFC’s 0.31 rating (390,000 adults).
Sure, not exactly a huge win for the UFC, especially since it was not head-to-head, but still notable as the WWE loves to say how much better they are than the UFC regardless of if they are head-to-head or not.
When it came to the competition on the national side, CBS won the night as they CSI dominate the Thanksgiving eve again with 10.08 million viewers and a 2.0/6 rating (down slightly from last week).
On the cable side, Haunted Highway on SyFy drew a solid 956,000 viewers with a 0.38 rating and House Hunters on HGTV drew over 1.3 million viewers with a .25 rating.
