A women’s bantamweight bout has been officially added to UFC 170 on February 22nd in Las Vegas as Alexis Davis will meet Jessica Eye.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday and it’s unknown if this will be one of the five bouts on the main card.
UFC 170 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Sara McMann.
Davis (15-5) is currently on a four fight winning streak and two of those wins have come in the UFC. Her most recent victory came at UFC Fight for the Troops 3 as she defeated former title challenger Liz Carmouche by unanimous decision.
Eye (11-1) made her UFC debut in October at UFC 166 and she defeated Sarah Kaufman by split decision. It was her eighth straight victory and seven of those victories have come by decision.
